The Rice Value Chain Development Project (RVCDP) recently held its 7th Steering Committee Meeting in Bamenda. Chaired by H.E. Gabriel Mbaïrobe, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and President of the RVCDP Steering Committee, the meeting to review the implementation progress and set directions for the coming months focused on Accountability, Evaluation, and Performance Assessment across the projects rice value chain components. Religious leaders and faith based actors from across Cameroon have convened in a strategic gathering aimed at strengthening collaboration to promote gender justice within faith communities. The meeting focused on how churches, mosques, and faith-led platforms can mobilize moral authority, scriptural teachings, and community influence to challenge Gender Based Violence and discrimination especially sexual violence against women and girls.
