In a significant move to enhance Agricultural productivity and support Regional reconstruction, the Government of Cameroon has reaffirmed its dedication to the Rice Value Chain Development Project (RVCDP). This commitment was highlighted during the 6th Steering Committee Meeting chaired by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Gabriel Mbairobe, in Bamenda. Minister Mbairobe characterized the RVCDP as a central element of Government policy under President Paul Biya. What appeared to be a calm morning in the neighborhood of Tradex Bastos quickly shifted once inside the building. Dozens of aggrieved subscribers gathered in the corridors, hiding their faces from cameras as they recounted how they had allegedly been defrauded by the organization.
